Well, you are probably talking about multi-KW rated servo drives. Yaskawa,
A-B/Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Kollmorgen are some of the names that come
to mind in this size range. You have to do some careful design to account
for the dynamics of such a large machine, in terms of ballscrews or other
drive, ways, etc. You might want to at least look into brushless linear
motors for this. They are way expensive, but they get rid of all the other
drive components. A 40' leadscrew will cost a bundle!
