I could not find a similar product in McMaster's online catalog.
If you are comparing Bergs product to a standard rack, then
you forgot to include the cost of the linear rail. Bergs combines
the two items.

McMaster Carr is probably cheaper at about 5$ a foot more than chain it
seems as if the Rack gear is well worth the extra expense unless you have
the chain lying around and you do't care too much about accuracy.
