Hello everyone and thanks for all the suggestions. The idea of building
several of these things has a lot of appeal to me. I guess I was not
very clear in my orginal post. What I'm proposing is to weld
every link of the chain to a piece of angle iron thus making a "rack"
out of it. I have seen this done on a sawmill table and for that
application it worked very well. Aside from knowing very little about
plasma cutters I'm constrined by a small budget. If I spend too much on
the table I can't buy the cutter. My plan is to mount the racks up
above the torch at least 18 inchs and to be able
to handle material at least 4 by 8 feet. And yes my idea is to move the
torch not the material.
How many would be interested in a joint project?
Kind regards,
Bob B.
