There is mention that Bergs prices are very high. The linear rail
has supports available, just like standard rail, so length is no
problem.

Correct and the Berg unit looks like it would be a good system, but
unless you are going to have a very small Plasma cutter it's going to be
pretty pricey. In fact I'd like to know just how much it is with a .5" X
4+ foot rack. Anything much over 3 feet is likely to have too much
deflection to be usable, so go to 1" diameter ??

Check out www.Torchmate.com for some ideas. I'm still racking my brain to
