I suspect much of the trouble arises from the ini file being configured for
imperial units whilst you are working in metric. This _is_ an issue I am
aware of and have some ideas on resolving the problem.
How quickly these changes make their way in to CVS is hard to say - I have
limited time to devote so many projects. Stick with us, some big changes are
in the pipeline. In the meantime, keep bugging the developers on the emc-dev
list (that is the place for bug reports).
