I do this all the time for engraving 19" rack mount panels on a
Taig... Last thing I do before moving the panel is engrave a little
scratch to zero off of when I move the panel. I guess I could mill the
front panel on a taig, but I have an x-y table set up with a spoil board
for milling, but it does not hold the Z axis well enough for
engraving. Too lazy to bounce between milling on the taig with a spoil
board, then removing it for engraving.
