What the original author may not know is that there would be a
considerable speed up if the distro was installed to harddisk. It is
certainly worth mentioning.

To be honest I do mis the Redhat versions as that is my favored
distro. I often wonder what a minimal set of RPM's would be for
install on something like FC2.
