Hi Roy,

Dip switches or jumpers, as I recall, it didn't have it's own bit rate
generator, so 7/8 bits, 1 - 2.5 stop bits, parity E, O, None would be
all that needs to be set up. Are there jumpers/ dip switches on the
board leading to the chip? That could also be a tip-off.
