Good point. This is where ebay can come to the rescue again however
a fridge compressor seems to be adequate if you really need to save
the cash.

I would quite like a sealed laser but apart from emmision tech the
other suppliers don't seem all that forth comming over details, much
like the other suppliers of kits. They never seem to show a decent
picture of what you are buying, never mind it actually operating.

If anyone has a good source for sealed CO2 laser tubes that are
known to be of good quality and work then I am interested to find
new sources.

Considering the lack of mass you have to move when making a CNC
laser cutter the CNC part should be a joy to do. Can't wait to get
building.
