Tom,
While this thread has morphed from my original post (questions) your
statements regarding the advantages of servo -vs- steppers has me
thinking that when I begin my CNC build/mod the servo route may be
preferred. The "delta" as you stated, is not that great and I would
be interested on your thoughts if the servo may be my better
purchase/investment.
I do not intend at this time to have more than my 3in1 machine
CNC'd, but would want the greater accuracy. Also, the more robust
servo system may more readily transfer to a larger machine, if I
really get the bug.
