Do you really NEED 1008 Watts? Continuously? Note that most of these
unregulated supplies can deliver twice the continuous rating for a couple
of seconds every minute without damage. So, in almost all cases, you
can use a supply half the size of your worst-case peak current draw.
That's what the capacitors are for is to supply peak currents.
