Larry,

If by net provider you mean Internet provider, there is no difference
setting up
linux as there is setting up windows. I don't think your provider knows
or
cares what operating system you use. If you use RedHat 6.0 or later or
any
other release such as mandrake, corel, or whatever, load up the KDE
desktop
manager and use KPP. It is very easy, just fill in the blanks with phone
#
name, area code, etc. Then start netscape and enter the info there such
as
mail & news server names and DNS #'s. All of this info is also required
by
windows also. dial up and go surf the net.

If you are using an older version such as RH 5, well, thats another
story
altogether.
