Thanks, but I know most of the specs on the Servo Dynamics amps,
including the
1525. The things I'd like to know are the volts/KRPM and the max peak
current
for the motors. I can guess, but that could be dangerous.

No, somebody STOLE the encoders! I'm trying to find him some suitable ones
on eBay. Phew, I wouldn't wish light bulb encoders on anyone. You
might try
replacing yours with high power IR LEDs.
