Ok, let's assume that we are using a .2 inch per rev lead screw on this mill
with 500 cpr encoders. That would be 500*4 = 2000 pulses per rev. 2000*5 =
10000 pulses per inch * 120 = 1200000 pulses per minute. 120000 / 60 =
20000 pulses per second for 120 inches per minute. Mach2 can run at 45000
pulses per second so you could easily get 120IPM on both the X and Y axis
during a rapid move.
