5 phase steppers run smoother and ususally have more torque in a
given size BUT there are no hobby level (lower cost) drives available
so you have to either build you own, or find them on EBAY. The
affordable PC based controllers use the parallel port pins and step
and direction. We need to find a motor driver that will take simple
step and direction and drive the 5 phase motors. Vexta makes one but
new they are expensive.
