Some of my customers have run into the issue of Mach2/mach3 being way too
complex. Indeed, the standard screens are extremely busy and has a ton of
information but for the most part you will only read the digital display,
press the cycle start, stop, pause, rewind buttons and use the MDI feature.
There is also a simple screen that gets rid of most of the unused features
and is just a simple screen with the basics. You should be able to d/l the
simple640.set screen from the mach2 user group. If not I can email it to
you.
On the other hand you can also look at deskcnc. Its cnc screen is pretty
basic.
