much it would cost to get a milling cutter to make a belt grouve.
then it would be a matter of just turning the OD and milling the
slots.
There are different types of belts. many are trapoizoidal, and some
are rounded. If one was to use a rounded belt, it would be a matter
of drilling in the proper circle and then turning the OD.
But, it is an easy matter to spend a couple hundred bucks on pulleys
and belts.
I priced up a belt for an H drive. $35 for the belt and $28 for a 16
tooth pulley. yikes !
