which is to apportion the flow to
ALL points. Now, ALL the oil goes to the one with the least
restriction. That is most likely the
ball nuts. The ways are running practically dry!

The oil is heavy and the tubing has a small id and still restricts the flow from the pump thereby equalizing the deposit of oil at each point. As somone else stated "oil is cheap and machines are not". Of course the rule of thumb with machines is not to over oil as in the case with lathe ways because the excess oil is a debris collector. Its a judgemnt call. I like seeing lots of oil when its needed. One of my machines wasn't getting ANY oil which prompted me to start drilling. Mo' is betta'
