Err, I have to disagree slightly. The orifices restrict flow in the
system with the result that each restrictor sees the same pressure.
Thus for a given restrictor size all will see the same flow rate
through the restrictor no matter how far they are from the pump.

In effect the whole point of having restrictors in the system is to
balance pressure though out the system so that flow rates can be managed
at each lubrication point. Other wise you could end up having your
entire pressure drop at the first lubrication point. The size of the
restrictors control flow, You could very easily have one lubrication
point using much more lube than all the rest. Ideally on the pump
side of the restrictor pressure would be equal though out the system.
