would be a major undertaking though. belting a servo to the input
shaft is pretty easy to do and the servo is still out of the way. I
can't imagine why anyone would want to raise the knee by hand. I have
no handcranks at all on my machine.

I really want the handcranks for the "quickie" machine job, or
just incase. The little effort to cut a rectangular slot and
machine the leadscrew a bit further down to accept the pulley,
seems like a minor amount of work compared to the ease of mounting
the motor and getting it out of the way.
