Using another mosfet, 2N7000 or such and put the LED on the 80 volt
rail.

parallel the comparitor inputs and have one output on the IFR540 for
the dump, and the other for the LED circuit.

So, all you are adding to the 12 volt rail is the second inputs on
the 393 and one mosfet.


Run a different one directle from the 80 volt leg past the filter
capacitor.

This will indicate the power supply charge.

Since the more elaborate dump circuit will drain the power supply
when the AC is powered off, this will indicate when the power supply
is hot or not.
