I found this odd and cheap transformer over at American Science and
Surplus:

I don't believe the current ratings based on the size of the
transfomer but it has a 25VAC winding and a 5 VAC winding. Wired in
series out of phase you get: 20VAC I bet it will do 5 or 6 amps easy.
