My understanding is that many of the CNC people will NOT be at NAMES
this year. To spite them, the EMC community has scheduled their yearly
gathering at the same time, in the Washington DC area, April 25-28. I guess
this doesn't absolutely prevent somebody from attending both, but it
would mean
a lot of travelling.

There will be a CNC-only get together in Galesburg, IL, at Roland Friestad's
shop June 20-26th.

I suspect some of the vendors will be there. I'm not sure what Roland is
doing, but he was quite upset last year.
