power supply question

Hi all,
Is there anything wrong with running a capacitor on your power supply
that is somewhat larger (or for that matter, smaller) than what is
being called for? For instance my calculations call for an 8,000uf cap,
but I have on hand a 22,000uf... is there anything wrong with using
that?
Thanks,
Chris
