HI David,

I don't believe he's using an rtlinux kernel, but he does have a pulse module
that reads the Pentium internal clock, probably runs at the inner ring (ring 0?
or whatever the current term is).

For my STEP4 controller, I've stuck with a 'C' program running under DOS. I've
been thinking of porting the motion code to a PIC processor. You might consider
this; as it allows the GUI and bulk of the computations to be done at a higher
level, in the language of your choice.

Check out Gecko's new G2002 (?) module.
