Andry,
Carbide tipped 0-1x.0001 is $10.95
from:
http://www.use-enco.com
SHARS and some others have similar values.
The full micrometer costs a little less than the head.
Saw off the un needed part!
I have seen these for as little as $5.95 or $29.95 for a set of
three.
Amazing thing: these usually test out to .0001 on gage blocks.
I know of the picture problem on my site...thanks.
Web host has some issues today.

Leslie,
First, I went out to your website and noticed some bad links for several of
your pictures. Most of the site loads well, just a couple "problem
children". You may wish to take a look.
Second, please let me know where you get the "very inexpensive, almost free"
micrometers and micrometer heads?
Thanks,
Andrey Lipavsky
