These are proper drivers and would serve you well.

20 volts at 1 am is 20 watts. look for some 25 watt resistors. Or,
use multiples of lower wattage.

But, as others will point out, if you have 3 motors and 6 resistors
and each is pulling 20 watts, that is 120 watts just to heat the
resistors and not for the motor.

What is the motor voltage ? the last clue needed to calculate the
resitor ratings.
