I've got an Omni too, screen isn't burned, but flickers between very
readable to dim and barely readable.

I'd bought a couple LDC screens on ebay for other CNC projects. Have a
12" Datalux on my mill, liked it enough to buy a 10.4 to see if I could
somehow shoehorn it into the Omni case. Well either something's wrong
with it or it doesn't like my video card, so I've not messed with it
much, but I doubt it'll fit in the Omni case.

I did buy two Planar 9.5" LCD monitors on ebay. These have a nice
display. In fact, I put a VGA card in my omni and tried it, it looks
great! But it would be some bit of work squeezing it into the Omni case.
And it's just a tad too large to surface mount. It'll fit, but would
obstruct access to the E-stop. That's one button I want to be able to
reach if I need to...

I was scanning emails trying to find my end of auction notice for these,
haven't found it yet. But the seller said he had a bunch and got more on
a fairly regular basis. So setup a search on Planar, my specific model
is LMT-5020. Think they were about $39 each + shipping.
If I can find any emails pertaining to either the auction or
communication from the seller, I'll forward the info.
