Nathan, don't know what the problem is with the 2nd Gen DeskCNC
controller, but it will be a lot cheaper to repair or replace a
defective DeskCNC controller card, than to purchase another controller
program and/or a breakout board. I don't know when or where you
purchased your 2nd gen controller, so I can't even guess as to whether
or not it might be covered under warranty.

DeskCNC is the only inexpensive controller program that surface scans
a smoothed, tip compensated surface directly to an .STL file.
