Hi Alan
I've got Monkey Butt googling for this stuff lol , however I did find some info with regards to PIC's but not quite what I'm looking for, my Software skills are not good enough to be Dangerous if you know what I mean ;-)
I do have a program called Camshaft Analyzer and it will alos read from a Linear/Rotary Encoder via the serial port, but I suspect its via Hardware that the Encoders plug in to..... unless its just a Translator with out any VID, I will try connecting this Hacked Mouse to the Serial Port instead of the PS2 Port.
I will check out Cutemouse a bit more
