How do I test IC SN74LS541N on PCB?

Hello,

Hoping some elctronics wizard can help me with this.
I have an Anilam M controler that is not working and would like to see
if I can fix it before I try a retrofit
So heres the question: can I bench test this IC? SN74LS541N, here is
link to download the datasheet:

There are 20 of these on the green tab board. I've been told by Anilam
one or more are bad, now I need to find which one.
Can I do this with a power supply, logic probe and logic pulser?
testing each circuit in the chip one by one.
I am extremely electronically challenged, so you will need to spell it
out for me, if it can be done at all.
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
