I looked into it but it is very difficult and expensive in terms of
materials and technologies. Not only do you need a UV laser you also
need scanning mirrors, an accurate fluid system and software that
doesn't exist yet (for free).

I am sure we would all be interested to hear of your ideas for your
machine.

Depending on the prototyping you want to do there may be some simpler
options such as milling, moulding, low resolution LOM (laminate cut
sheets toether) and a host of others.
