I would suggest checking out http://www.k2cnc.com/ for their machines.
If you're more interested in cnc routing than building one these guys
have done the job. I was a 52 year old woodworker with only minimal
computer skills. I bought a 24 x 60x 5"machine from them just a little
over a year ago and it has literally changed my life. This has been a
quality machine at an affordable price. I'm using Mach2 for a
controller which is great and Bobcad-cam which has been a lovehate
relationship but is now quite useful and straightforward. Good luck.
