Oh, come on, Tony-I know what you mean about Fred's product plugs, but I
thought the laser in the hole tip was pretty neat, and there was not
much plugging of anything except the technique.

I've mounted a webcam on the end of a piece of 8mm rod so it can be
mounted
in the mill spindle, pointing downwards, and used a software package
("Willing Webcam" - see http://www.willingsoftware.com/) to display the
image on a PC screen with a graphic "graticule" superimposed on it. See
recent article in Model Engineers' Workshop. Works very well indeed.

I believe that Mach3 now offers a similar capability...time for DeskCNC
to
play catchup here, Fred?
