And, there is a collar for a drill press, I think sold by Sears, that
has 2 lined pointers on it. one adjustes them so they cross directly
under the column, so you get an X directly under the tool. very clever.
the only problem I have with lasers is that the beams are so thick,
hard to tell where the 0.0000" mark is in that wide stripe.
