Re: [CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO] EMC on a ThinkPad?

Jon: I neglected to tell you that I have a docking station for the
ThinkPad that will accept the DRO card and a second hard drive for the
linux and emc. I have not purchased the second hard drive yet. I have a
choice of either 2.1gig or 3.0gig( for about $30 more). Should I go for
the 3.0 gig for this use? Is there going to be a major problem
installing with this setup? Well, let me rephrase that. A major ,major
problem, I have been keeping up with the woes of the linux-emc install.
I am not even sure that I am up to the task. Or would the dos version
desknrt be a better alternative for me? I get frustrated really easy
with things that I don't understand.
