I have a setup with the same size motors, and a Xylotex driver. The
other repliers display good electrical knowledge, which I don't have.
My solution was to use 22 AWG wire. One of the controlling design
factors was that the wire would be bent and rebent to follow the
movement of the motor, and the smaller diameter, and stranded wire, was
less likely to break in years to come. I am also using the DB9s and
Like them.
