Hi,
Searching Digital Protractor on Ebay gives an electronic level
good to .01 for $75 which is less than the cost of the parts ypu
would need to make something, Instant pudding.

Also search for Schaevitz Anglestar on google fpr a unit with
a display and remote sensor. It would have a smaller hoofprint
but cost between $200-$300. It's cute as a bug though.

Both of these are comparable cost to making something like this
except it won't take weeks and require a big learning curve.
