I would agree. Sizing is very important. I would have to add that servos
are more tolerant if you do get the sizing wrong. If you slightly
overload a stepper it loses steps and the first thing you know about it
is when the part comes out the wrong size or your cutter breaks. If you
overload servos they fault out and the machine stops. You instantly know
you have a problem and the part can usually be saved.
How small is small? For some a Taig is small, for others a Bridgeport is
small....
