Greetings

I think it's a great product that a lot of us have been wanting for a
long time. Why pay for a manual machine with parts your going to
throw away to convert to cnc?

This product just replaces the hand wheels and acme screws with
steppers and ball screws and adds other things we like such as an
oiler and a basic spindle speed control.

Anyone on this list that has converted a manual machine will see the
labor and cost savings of buying a machine with this already done.

Granted it has some limitations but I think it has more positive
things going for it. I like the 34 frame size steppers. If the ball
screws are not the best quality who cares! It's easier to replace a
cheap ball screw down the road with a quality one than it is to
convert a machine from acme screw to ball screw.

I too would like more horsepower in the spindle and more rpm's but I
think we need to be realistic to what's possible in a compact sized
machine.

If they can get it here in the United States for close to the price
their selling the manual machines for they are going to fly off the
shelves. I know I'd be selling my converted Turco and upgrading to
one of these in the near future.
