Not sure if the power supply will have enough power, but on an ATX or
Mini-ATX or Micro-ATX (which should cover just about everything you're
likely to encounter), you need to jumper between the green wire and any
black wire as found on the main (~20 pins) connector that goes to the
motherboard. The green wire gets pulled LO by jumping it to a ground pin
(black wire). Yellow is +12 and black is ground.
The pin must be jumpered at all times when the supply is on, otherwise it
will shut off.
BTW, are you sure that the steppers are 12 or 5 volt? All of my stepper
equipment and driver boards are 24 volt.
