some more milk digitizing ideas

After looking at rat whiskers for a while (thanks for that) I started
thinking about the milk digitizing again.

I remembered this site:

He has created a nice strobe system that uses drops of water filled
with a fluorescent reagent. He then illuminates this using UV leds.
I'm wondering if a fluid like this might be the perfect medium for the
method, add a filter to the camera and all you will see is the water,
add some detergent and you get rid of much of the meniscus.

I just like the fact it would not be relying on a fluid being opaque
and can digitize black/white objects with equal ease (the fluid gives
out light at a different wavelength to the illumination).
