This is a CAD interface to the machine tool. It is a seamless way of
going from drawing to machine tool path execution. For most
operations there is never any use of G-codes. The graphic items are
converted directly into machine motor movement signals.

To move the machine around you use the MoveTo command and just point
and click in the graphics area. The machine then moves to the
coordinates of the mouse click in the graphics area.

What freeware software program would you suggest that has a graphical
direct machine motion interface and works with Windows Xp and Vista?

Granted, there are many solutions for creating G-codes. That's a
trivial task compared to combining a CAD program with machine motion
control.

This is not your traditional means of machine tool control. Most of
the users of SuperCam and SuperCamXp haven't a bit of knowledge of G-
code files. They simply do not have to bother with it.

What I have to offer is an alternative to having to learning a set of
codes and putzing with all those pesky numbers. It all stays in the
visual realm.
