Yes, I've done that for a variety of multi-sync monitors, but I wasn't
the originator
of this thread.

Hmmm, that's useful to know. I think that the RH5.2 Xfree monitor sync
program is quite powerful,
but dangerous, and hard to understand unless you are really familiar
with video signals.
