I'm sorry you see it that way.

The reason I corrected you is that in/lb means "inches per pound", and if you try to use that in any equations that require the proper in-lb (which means "inches times pounds"), you will soon be hopelessly befuddled, as the terms will not cancel properly.

This is quite a common mistake, and I don't mean to pick on you(almost as common as "DB9"..:) )
