Of course you don't know if you don't try it, but I think they will be too
weak if you go direct drive. I tried them on the Geckodrive controller at 36
v and 72 v (the 72 V was a mistake). I would guess that they are around 30 -
40 in/oz or so. If they were set up as a 3:1 reduction they would probably
make some darn nice motors for a Sherline.
