Well, that would be ok, because at 1600 steps per rev and 20 revs per
inch on a Sherline that works out to .000031 per step which is far
greater accuracy than the machine could ever produce. I guess the
major question would be do these motors have enough torque to drive
the Sherline mill? They are pretty powerful on 12 volts, maybe at 18
volts they would have enough to get the job done.
