Thanks Guys,
I'm in the Los Angeles area right now but I'm working on the road most of the time, so committing to a class schedule is tough. On-line courses might work, but even a good book on the subject would be a start. Anyone have a favorite general text? I'm mainly interested in the programming and automation end of things right now, not necessarily machining/metalworking.
I've picked up a lot from browsing through the forums, but I think a good general textbook would help put it all in perspective.
Thanks again.
Jim
