The cost would need to be under $500, and have a free trial period. I
want to machine aluminium and wood.
There seems to be many programs that can do this but the suppliers are
too embarrassed to advertise the price ( over $10,000 ). I thought maybe
there is an open source program that can do this ( Linux ok ).
I've seen an ad for a 3D scanner somewhere but I don't know how they
generate the Gcode from the scan.
If there is no software available, is there anywhere I can get a sample
Gcode with continuous 4 axis movements to test my machine with? (
machining something interesting like a head or car or something)
