Upgrade from Centroid to Geckos? I think that is going backwards.
Centroid is arguable the best retrofit you can buy. Used by many professional shops. Not going to find any Gecko's or other drives in any pro shops.
Depending on what model Centroid you have, it certainly has some resale value. If I were you, I would see how much it costs to fix the Centroid. Last I knew, you could swap an axis and get a rebuilt one from Centroid for $400. Hard to beat that.
